Why we started LaErev
LaErev started with a simple frustration: every event calls for a dress that makes you feel incredible, but finding one used to mean sifting through disorganized Facebook groups, WhatsApp chats, and stores that charge full price for something you'll wear once.
The idea was simple — help you find the most glamorous version of yourself for a fair price. You get to look amazing for the one event that matters, without paying to store away another dress you'll rarely wear again.

- • Agree on exact pickup and return timing.
- • Agree on who handles cleaning afterward.
- • Talk through damage expectations before you take the dress.
- • Confirm everything in writing over WhatsApp.

- • Describe the dress accurately — size, fit, and condition.
- • Use current, well-lit photos of the actual dress.
- • Disclose any flaws, stains, or repairs up front.
- • Set clear expectations before agreeing to rent it out.

No — you and the owner arrange payment directly, however works for both of you.
What if something goes wrong?
LaErev doesn't mediate disputes. If a listing or user seems dishonest, please report it so we can review it.
Is my phone number public?
It's only shown to someone who taps "Contact Owner" on one of your active listings — not published anywhere else on the site.
